Andrés Andújar, PE (Inactive)

Advisory Board Member

Andrés Andújar is a Professional Engineer (inactive) and the visionary behind many of San Antonio's most transformative urban redevelopment projects. He served as CEO of the Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation from 2011 to 2025, leading the transformation of the former 1968 World's Fair site into one of the world's great public places. Earlier in his career he held senior leadership roles at Parsons Corporation and 3D/International, guiding billions of dollars in mixed-use, civic, and international development. He continues to advise on major projects across San Antonio and beyond.

Brent Ellis, Foster School of Business, Consultant

Brent Ellis brings more than two decades of executive leadership, strategic growth, finance, and real estate experience. He spent 14 years as Chief Financial Officer of Warehouse Demo Services, the in-house product demonstration company for Costco Wholesale, helping lead its growth to more than 8,000 employees across nine states before its strategic sale to Daymon Worldwide in 2013. Since then, he has focused on real estate investing in affordable, LEED-certified multifamily housing and has advised and mentored businesses through the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. His experience in operations, strategic dealmaking, and real estate investment adds a valuable perspective to Collaborate’s work in planning and financing large-scale development.

Dr. Head, Ph.D., Past Chancellor, Lone Star College

Advisory Board Member

Dr. Head, Ph.D., is a longtime higher education leader with more than 30 years of experience at Lone Star College. He served as Chancellor, president of three campuses, and Executive Vice Chancellor, overseeing more than $800 million in construction projects. His leadership focused on expanding access, strengthening workforce partnerships, and connecting educational, business, civic, and community organizations. Since retiring as Chancellor in 2023, Dr. Head has continued to advise higher education leaders and boards while teaching community college finance and education policy. His experience in institutional leadership, capital projects, and community partnerships brings valuable perspective to Collaborate’s work.
